Saturday and Sunday trading
Fair Price stores keep shorter hours at the weekend than during the week, and Sunday is the least consistent day. Stores inside a shopping centre follow that centre’s weekend trading decision rather than a chain-wide rule, so the same brand can differ between two towns.
Public holidays and special trading
Public holiday hours replace the regular schedule for that date. Furniture and appliance retailers more often close or shorten hours on public holidays than food retailers do, so a public holiday trip is worth confirming rather than assuming.
Finding your store’s exact hours
The official Fair Price store locator lets you narrow stores by province and then by city, which is the quickest way to confirm which branch you actually mean and where it is.
Once you have the right store, confirm its current hours with that store directly or through its own maps listing. If the visit involves collecting a purchase or a delivery arrangement, phone ahead: those are handled by specific staff whose availability can be narrower than the store’s own trading hours.
