Saturday is the longest trading day

Soshanguve Mall trades Monday to Friday from 9am to 6pm, Saturday from 8am to 6pm, and Sunday and public holidays from 8am to 2pm. Saturday is the outlier: it opens an hour earlier than a weekday and closes at the same time, making it the longest day of the week.

Sunday is the short one, finishing at 2pm.

The mall is open, and it is the newer of two Soshanguve centres

Soshanguve Mall is on Buitekant Street and confirms on its own site that it is now open. It should not be confused with Soshanguve Crossing, a separate centre with its own website and its own trading hours, or with Sosha Value Centre.

Getting the centre right matters here, because the two keep different schedules and are not in the same place.

Centre hours are the ceiling, not the guarantee

Individual shops inside a centre set their own hours within the mall’s. Banks and government-linked services routinely close earlier than the centre, and restaurants often trade later. The times above tell you when the doors are open, not when every tenant is trading.

Public holidays follow the Sunday schedule

The centre groups Sundays and public holidays together at 8am to 2pm. That is a genuinely useful thing to have published, because most centres treat public holidays case by case and leave shoppers guessing.

Sosh Value Centre shops are still trading

The mall states that the shops at Sosh Value Centre continue to trade. If a shop you are looking for was at the older centre, it has not necessarily moved, so check which site it is at before travelling.
