Dischem Clinic Operating Hours
Service availability
Dis-Chem Clinic does not publish one national schedule. Hours are set per branch, so a single set of times for the whole network would be wrong. Use the official locator for the exact branch you plan to visit. Dis-Chem Clinic branch locator.
The official clinics page describes what the clinics offer but publishes no clinic hours. Clinic hours are set per store and are separate from that store's trading hours.
These are the hours for this service specifically. The host location may open earlier or close later.
Checked on 6 September 2026 against dischem.co.za, which publishes no schedule covering every branch. Hours can change at short notice, especially on public holidays. Confirm with the branch before travelling.
Clinic hours are not the store’s hours
A Dis-Chem clinic sits inside a Dis-Chem store, but the two do not open and close together. The store can be trading while the clinic room is closed, because the clinic depends on a nurse being on duty rather than on the shop floor being staffed.
This is the single most common reason a clinic visit fails: the doors were open, the clinic was not.
Hours are set per store, not nationally
Dis-Chem publishes what its clinics do, but not a national clinic schedule. Each store’s clinic runs its own hours, and they differ between branches in the same city.
The store’s own trading hours are published in the official store locator, and they are useful as an outer limit: the clinic cannot be open when the store is shut. They will not tell you when the nurse is available.
Services run on their own schedules
Clinics cover a range of services, including adult and baby clinics, and not every service runs every day. Vaccinations, baby weigh-ins and specific screenings are commonly limited to particular days or to a cut-off earlier in the day than the clinic’s closing time.
If your visit is for one specific service rather than a general consultation, confirm that the service runs on the day you plan to go, not just that the clinic is open.
Appointments and walk-ins
Clinic capacity is limited by having one nurse on duty, so a clinic can stop taking new patients before its closing time once the queue is full. Phoning the specific store is the only reliable way to confirm both that the nurse is in and that there is still room.
Finding your clinic
Use the official Dis-Chem store locator to identify the exact store, then contact that store to confirm its clinic hours. Details of what the clinics offer are on the official Dis-Chem clinics page.
If you need care outside clinic hours, a pharmacist can advise on matters that do not need a consultation, and a hospital emergency department handles anything urgent.
