Protea North Library Operating Hours

The Protea North Library is currently closed due to ongoing renovations, and there is no publicly announced re-opening date as of July 2025^[5]. Notices indicate that patrons are encouraged to make use of nearby libraries such as Emndeni, Jabavu, and Protea Glen in the meantime^[5]. Previous regular operating hours, before closure, were reported as Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00, with the library closed on weekends and public holidays^[2]; however, these hours are not presently in effect due to the closure^[7].
