Steers does not publish one national schedule. Hours are set per branch, so a single set of times for the whole network would be wrong. Use the official locator for the exact branch you plan to visit. Steers branch locator.
Official restaurant locator publishes no national schedule; hours are set per outlet. Delivery availability is a separate question from whether an outlet is open to walk into.
Checked on 6 September 2026 against steers.co.za, which publishes no schedule covering every branch. Hours can change at short notice, especially on public holidays. Confirm with the branch before travelling.
Where the outlet sits affects its hours
Steers outlets trade from several different kinds of site, and the site matters more than the brand for working out when it is open:
An outlet inside a shopping centre is bound by that centre’s trading hours and closes when it does. An outlet on its own site is not, and can trade later. Because Steers outlets are run individually rather than to a national schedule, two of them a few kilometres apart can differ by hours.
The locator gives each outlet’s address, which is usually enough to tell which kind of site you are dealing with before you travel.
Weekends and public holidays
Weekend hours in this category usually extend rather than shorten, with the latest closing times on Friday and Saturday nights. Public holiday trading depends on the site: an outlet inside a centre follows the centre’s decision for that date, while one on its own site may not change at all.
The counter can close before the doors
As with any flame-grill kitchen, last orders come before closing time. If you are arriving in the final half hour, phone ahead rather than assuming the published closing time is when you can still order.
