Boxer Liquors is confirmed on the official Divisions page as one of three Boxer divisions. Boxer's site carries no store locator and no trading hours for any store in any division. The only schedule it publishes is customer care: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Sat 8am-1pm, closed Sunday.
Checked on 6 September 2026 against boxer.co.za, boxer.co.za, which publishes no schedule covering every branch. Hours can change at short notice, especially on public holidays. Confirm with the branch before travelling.
Boxer publishes no store hours at all
Boxer Liquors is one of Boxer’s three divisions, alongside Boxer Superstores and Boxer Build. The official Boxer site names the division but carries no store locator and no trading hours for any store in any division, so there is no national Boxer Liquors schedule to publish here.
The only schedule Boxer publishes is for its customer care line: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 8am to 1pm, closed Sunday. Those are call centre hours, not shop hours, and a Boxer Liquors store will not follow them.
Liquor hours are set by licence, not by the chain
A liquor outlet in South Africa trades within the hours its licence permits, and licensing is provincial. Two Boxer Liquors stores in different provinces can lawfully keep different hours, and a store attached to a shopping centre is bound by the centre’s hours as well as its own licence.
This is why a national figure would be misleading even if Boxer published one. The binding constraint sits on the individual store.
Sunday is the day that varies most
Sunday and public holiday liquor trading is the part of the schedule that differs most sharply between provinces and between individual licences. Do not assume that because one Boxer Liquors opened on a Sunday, another will.
If the trip is specifically for a Sunday or a public holiday, phone the store first.
Boxer Liquors usually sits next to a Boxer Superstore
The division is built around the group’s supermarket footprint, so the practical way to find a store’s hours is to identify the Boxer site you intend to visit and confirm the liquor shop’s own times, which can close earlier than the supermarket beside it.
