Mukuru does not publish one national schedule. Hours are set per branch, so a single set of times for the whole network would be wrong. Use the official locator for the exact branch you plan to visit. Mukuru branch locator.
Mukuru publishes one set of customer service contact hours across its site, Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 19:00 and Sunday 08:00 to 12:00. Those are contact centre hours, not branch trading hours. Branches, information centres and partner pay-in points are set separately, and partner points follow their host business.
Checked on 6 September 2026 against mukuru.com, which publishes no schedule covering every branch. Hours can change at short notice, especially on public holidays. Confirm with the branch before travelling.

Contact hours and branch hours are different
Mukuru publishes one set of hours across its site for its customer service line: Monday to Saturday 08:00 to 19:00, and Sunday 08:00 to 12:00. Those are the hours for reaching Mukuru by phone, not the trading hours of any particular branch.
A branch, an information centre and a partner pay-in point are each set separately and are not covered by that figure. If you are travelling somewhere, the contact hours will not tell you whether the door is open.
Branches, booths and partner points are not the same thing
Mukuru operates through several kinds of site, and they behave differently:
- Branches and information centres, staffed Mukuru sites where you can be helped in person.
- Partner pay-in and collection points, which sit inside other businesses. These follow the host business’s hours, not Mukuru’s, so a supermarket partner point is available while that supermarket is open.
That distinction matters most outside normal hours. A partner point inside a store trading late may be reachable when a Mukuru branch is closed.
Weekends and public holidays
Money transfer demand concentrates around month end and public holidays, which are exactly when queues are longest and when a shortened schedule is most likely. Sunday is the shortest day on the contact line, and branch availability on Sundays and public holidays is limited.
If a transfer is time-critical, allow for the queue rather than arriving close to closing.
Finding your branch
Use the official Mukuru branches and booths finder to identify the exact site and confirm what kind it is, then confirm its hours with that site. For partner points, check the host business’s hours instead.
