SPAR publishes no national schedule for any format; hours are per store. The Tier 2 phrasing 'Spar Liquor' resolves to the same entity.

“SPAR Liquor” is TOPS at SPAR
SPAR’s liquor stores trade as TOPS at SPAR. TOPS is one of the official store types in SPAR’s own Store Finder, listed alongside SUPERSPAR, KWIKSPAR, SPAR Express, SAVEMOR and SPAR Pharmacy, so a search for SPAR liquor hours is a search for a TOPS store’s hours.
SPAR publishes no national trading schedule for any of those formats, TOPS included. Hours are set store by store, which is why no table appears above.
Use the store type filter, not the brand
The Store Finder lets you filter by store type. Selecting TOPS narrows the results to liquor stores rather than returning every SPAR in the area, which matters because a TOPS shop and the SPAR next to it are separate outlets with separate hours.
Liquor licensing is provincial
A South African liquor outlet trades within the hours its licence permits, and liquor licensing is administered province by province. Two TOPS stores in different provinces can lawfully keep different hours, and neither is following a national rule.
Sunday and public holiday trading varies most of all. Confirm those specifically rather than assuming.
Most SPAR stores are individually owned
SPAR in South Africa operates on a retailer-owned model rather than as a chain of company outlets, and that is the practical reason hours differ between two stores under the same sign. The retailer sets the trading day around their own site, centre and licence.
