Usave does not publish one national schedule. Hours are set per branch, so a single set of times for the whole network would be wrong. Use the official locator for the exact branch you plan to visit. Usave branch locator.
Official store locator publishes a full day-by-day opening hours table for each store, along with its address, telephone number and manager. Hours differ between stores, so no single national schedule applies.
Checked on 6 September 2026 against usave.co.za, which publishes no schedule covering every branch. Hours can change at short notice, especially on public holidays. Confirm with the branch before travelling.
The locator gives you the full week, not just an address
Usave’s official store locator is more useful than most. Each store listing carries a full day-by-day opening hours table, the physical address, the store telephone number and the manager’s name.
That means you can confirm the exact day you plan to visit before travelling, rather than working from a general assumption about the chain. It is worth using directly instead of relying on a third-party listing.
Saturday and Sunday trading
Weekend hours are shorter than weekdays and are set per store. In the listings, Saturday commonly closes an hour or more before the weekday closing time at the same store, and Sunday is shorter again where the store trades at all.
Because each store publishes its own table, the weekend answer is available directly rather than needing a phone call.
Public holidays and special trading
Public holiday hours replace the regular weekly schedule for that date, and the published table will not always reflect a one-off change. Around public holidays, and particularly over December and Easter, confirm with the store using the telephone number on its listing.
Smaller stores, tighter hours
Usave stores are compact discount format stores, often in smaller towns and township centres rather than large malls. They generally keep tighter hours than a full-size supermarket, so a late evening shop is less likely to be an option than at a larger store nearby.

Open the official Usave store locator, find the store by area, and read its opening hours table. Match the store by its address, since more than one store can serve the same town.
